Kal Ata Khan is an acclaimed photographer, creative director, and multidisciplinary artist whose work bridges media, fashion, and fine arts. He is the founder and publisher of Chaarmz Lifestyle Magazine, a Toronto-, Miami-, and LA-based publication known for celebrating global culture, talent, and innovation.
A pioneer in visual storytelling, Kal’s work has been internationally recognized and archived in institutions such as the BMW Museum (Germany), the Smithsonian Institution (USA), and the Louvre Museum (France).
Kal’s creative influence extends to film, opera, and literature. His published poetry collection Islands of Desire was adapted into six operas performed by orchestral ensembles at Harvard University and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Trained in motion picture photography at the University of Pennsylvania, Kal brings a cinematic vision to all his projects, with a focus on emotion-driven, human-centered narratives.
As Director of Creative Media & Talent Engagement for the International Peace Festival, Kal leads strategic collaborations with artists, stylists, and media partners. He plays a pivotal role in curating visual identity, coordinating talent engagement, and supporting initiatives like the Peace Ambassadors Gala’s fashion programming. His dedication to artistic excellence and inclusive storytelling aligns with the IPA’s mission to advance peace through creativity, diversity, and cultural diplomacy.
