Nadiya Yashan

Nadiya Yashan is a women's rights advocate whose work focuses on advancing women's leadership, entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. She supports women entrepreneurs, professionals, newcomers and community leaders through business and educational initiatives, international partnerships, professional networks and media engagement.

Nadiya has represented Canada and the international women's business community at forums and leadership events at the European Parliament in Brussels, as well as in Luxembourg, France, the United States and other countries across Europe and North America. She continues to participate in international forums and panel discussions focused on women's leadership, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and international cooperation.

She also serves as an Advisor to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Canada. With a professional background spanning public administration, culture, tourism, marketing, communications and community development, her work brings together women's leadership, cultural diplomacy, community engagement and international cooperation.

Nadiya is the Founder and President of Business Woman PRO Canada and Director of the Canadian Representation of Business Woman magazine, an international publication represented in 36 countries worldwide. Through these platforms, she has worked for more than five years to build professional networks, create opportunities for women and strengthen connections among women leaders, entrepreneurs and communities internationally.

As Chair of Women For Peace, Nadiya contributes to the International Peace Alliance's global work to advance women's leadership and participation in peacebuilding, international cooperation, economic development and community advancement, while strengthening partnerships and networks that connect women across countries, regions and sectors.
