Dr. Luison Mbombo

Dr. Louison Mbombo is a respected entrepreneur, global strategist, and humanitarian leader. His vision is rooted in building sustainable, high-impact ventures that drive inclusive growth across emerging markets.

He is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Mbombo Investment Group, a global enterprise with active ventures in healthcare, green energy, real estate, digital innovation, and social impact finance. With professional roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and a global presence extending across Africa, Brazil, and North America, he brings a uniquely cross-continental perspective to sustainable development and inclusive economic growth.

In his role as Director, Africa Social and Economic Development, and member of the International Peace Alliance’s Global Leadership Team, Dr. Mbombo works to initiate transformative programs across the African continent that align with the Alliance’s mission to promote peace through sustainable development, innovation, and international cooperation.

A medical doctor by training and visionary strategist by practice, Dr. Mbombo combines clinical insight with bold investment models to address persistent challenges in public health, environmental conservation, and economic inclusion. His company launched Mbombomed Telemedicine Inc., a platform delivering remote care to underserved populations, and has led multi-million-dollar initiatives in carbon credit finance, real estate development, and fintech for social good.

Dr. Mbombo’s leadership has earned recognition from UNESCO, the European Commission, the Government of Brazil, and the Dutch Coalition for Humanitarian Innovation. He has also forged strategic partnerships at the national level, including a landmark agreement with the Congolese government for 80 million hectares of land dedicated to environmental conservation and carbon credit development—laying the foundation for a proposed $160 billion carbon investment bank.

With degrees from the Université Technologique Bel Campus (Doctor of Medicine) and the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (BSc in Medicine), Dr. Mbombo represents a new generation of African leaders committed to building a future where economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and human dignity go hand in hand.

He joins the International Peace Alliance to extend this mission globally and to help shape an integrated and impactful Peace Industrial Complex across Africa and beyond.
